Colin Garrow contacted Folla Fiction Publishing again to proofread his new book: Blood on the Tyne: Body Parts, part 1 of the Rosie Robson Murder Mystery series. It is always a pleasure to work with Mr. Garrow, and it seems the feeling is mutual (since he keeps coming back for our services!). His new novel is an exciting read, and it was hard to keep focusing on the words with such a compelling story. We can thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who’s into murder mysteries. It is set in the fifties in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, and has the appropriate Geordie lingo to go with it (but it’s easy to understand the way Mr. Garrow writes it). We can’t wait for the next book to come out!
“One of the difficulties of being an author is never being entirely sure that what you’ve written works, or even makes sense, so it’s always interesting to get one of my edited books back from Folla Fiction—some things they point out should have been obvious to me, others hit me like a smack in the face, and I wonder how I didn’t notice. Making the changes to my work is always a bit of a journey and as always, I feel much better for it, knowing my book is the best it can be.”
